So White Heat finished last night, I did watch it all but for me, something about it just didn't quite hit the spot which was a shame as it had a great cast. Got the new issue of Company - they had Angel Adoree (woman who wrote Vintage Tea Party book/appeared on Dragons' Den - bright red hair/dresses in a retro style)in the where you live section, I absolutely adore her style. And they had Sade in the Women Who Rock series ( Read more... )

I read Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation edited by Kate Bornstein and S. Bear Bergman and found it really interesting. It's a collection of essays by a variety of people who cross/blur gender boundaries and I think the editors did a good job of trying to get a diversity of experience and opinions in there ( Read more... )
